Jan. 28th update: One of these suspects has been identified as 40-year-old Nikita Hicks, of Miami, FL. She has a Polk County warrant for her arrest for felony petit theft - she has 3 prior convictions for petit theft.
CRIME: THEFTS AT PUBLIX LIQUOR STORE
CRIME SCENE: 7352 KATHLEEN ROAD, LAKELAND
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CASE: #24-50719 and #25-906
The suspects seen here on video surveillance stole bottles of liquor from the same Publix liquor store on two different occasions: December 18, 2024, and January 8, 2025.
The suspects seem to be between the ages of 20 and 30 years old. In this video from Jan. 8th, the larger suspect wearing a dress with a grey hoodie over it conceals a bottle of cognac inside her hoodie. The other suspect is wearing a white sweatshirt with blue and red sleeves, and matching sweatpants.
On December 18th, they stole four bottles - one cognac and three tequilas - worth $244.00. They stuffed those inside their clothes. They fled in a grey Mazda SUV.
